Do You Have The Post-Holiday Kitchen Blues?

If you're anything like the majority of Vantage homeowners, you'd say that the kitchen is a magical place. It's where families spend the most time together.  It's that common area in a home where everyone gravitates.

During the holidays, many kitchens are crowded and it never seems like there's enough space for all the wonderful things that need to be cooked, displayed and enjoyed ... unless it's a Vantage.  At the start of every New Year, when the guests have all gone home, we often hear from new potential customers who are visiting our model homes that the kitchen in their current home is just too small, their appliances need to be upgraded, or there's simply not enough counter space. It seems that the holidays have a way of bringing on a case of the blues when you're trying to use a small kitchen to entertain a larger than average group. Most will go on to say that they'd do more entertaining at home,  if only they had a bigger kitchen.  This is where we can help!

At Vantage Homes, we're good listeners. So when we hear similar stories from prospective homeowners, we take their comments to heart.  Which is why our team of architects, designers, and builders focus heavily on creating kitchen spaces that function the way people live. All of our kitchens offer larger than average kitchen islands, large pantries, and stainless steel GE appliances such as a free standing range, dishwasher, and microwave. Our team looks at simple things that make a big difference in the kitchen. For example, our kitchen perimeter outlets are set horizontally above the countertops for better functionality. Many floorplans offer expansive islands that not only offer a highly functional space for the chefs in the family, but also provide comfortable seating for larger gatherings. So when seating in the dining room and nook is full, there's always room in the kitchen at the granite island.

There are many things people love about their existing homes. If the kitchen isn't one of the rooms you love, come see us.  We'll show you how our kitchens become the heart of every home we build. It's one way we help our homeowners avoid a case of the post-holiday kitchen blues.
